All Mountain Green products are skin sensitive and are compatible with HE washing machines. Also, Mountain Green products are free of harsh chemicals, phosphates, phosphorous, enzymes, PEG, polycarboxylates, benzene, cocamide DEA, chlorine, SLS parabens and artificial dyes.

Why Mountain Green Detergents
For years Diaper Jungle has been an information-only site dedicated to providing information about cloth diapers to mothers. Before opening the Diaper Jungle store, we tried many different detergents and interviewed many different manufacturers. Finding a natural, environmentally friendly detergent that actually cleans well – and could be sold for a reasonable price - was not as easy as we thought it was going to be.

After trying the different brands and getting feedback from various mothers, we chose to carry the Mountain Green baby detergents. Here are the reasons why:

1. Mountain Green products actually work. Many of the “natural detergents” especially some of the cheaper options simply failed to clean effectively.

2. Mountain Green products are hypoallergenic and safe for the youngest child. You won’t find petroleum, parabens, or other harsh chemicals in their products. We noticed in examining the ingredients of other “natural products” on the market, that they were not nearly as natural as they claimed to be.

4. Mountain Green products are environmentally friendly. – All their products including dryer sheets biodegrade quickly with minimal environmental impact. The refill pouch uses 85% less energy and resources to create than another bottle. In addition it creates 85% less waste in areas where it is not yet recyclable. By buying a refill pouch, not only can you reduce and recycle, you are also reusing-your bottle!
